Password can be set from the command line using the following command described in this Technet article.

net user <username$> <password> /domain

Once configured (with the computer account) EasySSO starts playing a role of a computer on your network, for the purpose of authentication.

The underlying process is similar to those happening when a user is trying to access a shared drive on another machine.
