Before you begin please ensure you have the EasyTime for Jira Cloud app installed on a Jira Cloud Site and the EasyTime for Confluence Cloud app installed on a Confluence Cloud Site. You will also need to ensure you are a site admin on both sites.
Connect EasyTime for Confluence Cloud with your Jira Cloud
- Navigate to the "Manage Apps" tab in your Confluence site. Click to expand EasyTime for Confluence and click the "Configure" button.
- Click on the "Add Integration Button."
- Enter the Base URL of your Jira Cloud instance in the text box and click the "Submit" button.
- You should now see your connected Jira instance under the "Connected Jira Instance."

Enable EasyTime by adding Tracked Groups
If you evaluating EasyTime for the first time on your test instance or configuring it on your production for the first time, keep in mind that by default, time tracking is not enabled for any user groups.
To enable EasyTime time tracking you will need to add the user groups that you would like to track time for to the list of Tracked Groups
We recommend starting simple and using a small group of users when first trying the add-on.
To add a user group to the list, just start typing as you would do in a regular group picker and available groups will show up.
For example to only track time for your Service Desk agents, add the corresponding group, by default it's service-desk-agents.
You can add as many groups as you like to this field later.
Configure Catch-all Issues
Part of the magic of our EasyTime Integrations is that they will automatically search for an relevant issue wherever you are working. For example, EasyTime for Confluence automatically looks for a Jira issue link on a confluence page, however, you could often be working on a Confluence page with no Jira issue link. In these situations EasyTime will fall back to a generic catch-all issue if you have one configured. EasyTime for Confluence Cloud is one of our cloud integrations, so this feature is available.
