A user is viewing the page but no time record is created in Jira

Reasons why time isn't being recorded

• Time tracking was not enabled in Jira
• The user was not active in Jira
• The user did not have permission to record time in the Jira project of the issue you expect time to be tracked on
• The user was not a member of the EasyTime for Jira tracked groups
• The issue you expected time to be tracked on was matching the EasyTime for Jira Ignore JQL filter 
• EasyTime for Confluence will not overwrite manually logged work or other work logs of a higher priority so that work may have already been logged at that time
• It's possible the time record was actually created, but a different work log was created later for an event of higher priority, and the work logged by confluence was overwritten

Confluence Cloud

• The user in Jira was not the same user as the one in Confluence, i.e. they are using a different Atlassian account on each product

Confluence Server or Data Center

• There was no app link between Jira and Confluence
• Confluence could not reach Jira on the Server-side
• The user has a different username in Jira than in Confluence
