Hi, I’m Karl
I’m a Junior Developer here at TechTime. I like problem and puzzle solving. My favourite task so far has been refactoring - I like making logic simpler, easier to read, and easier to build upon. My favourite games right now, in order, are Phantom Abyss, Rocket League and Chess. I sing as a tenor in Wellington Youth Choir, though my voice type is baritone, and I’ve been singing with them since 2017. I’m currently the Librarian, the committee member who takes care of and keeps track of the music.
I studied Spanish at college for five years and was a finalist for the NZ Linguistic Olympiad in my last year, a competition where you are given translations to languages you’ve never seen before, and you have to work out different translations. Yo hablo un poco de Español pero mi vocabulario es terrible, así que estoy estudiando con DuoLingo. I can speak a bit of Spanish. However, my vocabulary isn’t the best. I’ve recently started using DuoLingo to get back in practice and increase my vocabulary.
