Answer:
Work is only logged on one issue at a time. After the pages have been open for around 20 seconds, only tabs that are currently open will try to log time.
Once the first work log is created, if another ticket is open at the same time, EasyTime will detect that there is already another work log (a "Clashing Work log"), and not try to log time, until the end of the original work log.
Once there are no clashing work logs, EasyTime will restart tracking in the opened tab.
