- Why does User Management Cloud need a separate API key
Atlassian does not provide the necessary scopes for an application to be able to interact directly with the REST resources requires to perform actions on cloud, therefore we require a user generated API Key to be input into User managements sources

An API key for Jira Cloud can be created under your Atlassian Profile here.
- Which users can the Atlassian Access source manage
An Atlassian access source can manage any Atlassian account who has an email address that has been claimed by your verified domain.
- Do I need to pay for Atlassian Access to user the Access source
No. You do not need to pay for Atlassian Access to enable an Access source. In order to utilise the Access source you’ll need to verify your company’s domain and claim those as managed accounts. You can verify your domain by going to admin.atlassian.net -> Settings -> Domains -> Verify your company domain
- Why are deleted users showing as inactive
In Jira Cloud, when users are deleted their basic information like name, email are still retained. Therefore when searching for users they are marked as inactive instead of being completely absent like on data centre. This behaviour is specific to Jira Cloud as part of its data retention approach.
- Does Scheduled User Actions run on cloud?
Yes, Scheduled Actions currently works for Organisation sources that are running with the new user experience.
