Additional features of the Embed Google Maps Pro:
In addition to the basic features of the Embed Google Map app, the Cloud version of Embed Google Maps Pro also supports:
- Automatically convert pasted Google Maps links into macros
- Support for Google My Maps custom maps
- Support for pasting urls and IFRAME embed code directly from the Google Maps UI
- Exporting "static" versions of the maps to PDF (printable maps)
Limitations
Support for migrated content of Embed Google Maps Pro for Server/Data Center in Embed Google Maps Pro for Cloud is implemented as a hidden macro.
A hidden macro just means that it does not appear in the search (so that when you search for Google Maps, only one - the cloud native version appears).
Alternatively, the maps can be re-made using native Embed Google Maps Pro – either by pasting a sharing link from Google Maps UI, or by inserting a map with /map shortcut.
