Answer:

In the Manage Apps Page:

  1. Check that EasyTime has a current license.

In the EasyTime Settings Page (more details here: EasyTime Configuration Screen):

  1. Check that the issue you are testing with does not match the "ignore JQL" that is configured in EasyTime settings. Any issue that matches this JQL will not have time automatically tracked.
  2. Check that the user is in one of the "Tracked Groups" that is configured in EasyTime settings. Only users in these groups will have time automatically logged.
  3. Cloud Only: If you are using Tempo Timesheets to view your tracked time, ensure that the Tempo integration is configured with a user who has permission to log work for others against the issue. See Integration with Tempo for more details.

In Global Permissions:

  1. Cloud Only: If the user cannot see the EasyTime panel, review the Global Permission "EasyTime Visibility". See EasyTime visibility in Jira Cloud.

In Project Roles and Permissions:

  1. Cloud Only: Check that the special project Role (atlassian-addons-project-access) is given Browse Projects, Work on Issues, View All Work Logs, Add and Delete Own Work Logs, Add and Delete All, Log Work for Others permissions in all projects where you want EasyTime to track time.
