To quickly add a map to your Confluence page you can do so by search terms, address or coordinates.

Please note, the search terms are evaluated at the time of rendering and in the context of the viewer, so do try to make them as precise as possible. Consider the situation where similarly named businesses or attractions exist in different countries, and the viewers of your page may see different maps

1.  Go to your Confluence page, select the 'Edit' page option and type '/' followed by 'google' or 'map' to open the macro insert menu to find the Google Maps macro. Click on the Google Maps menu item to insert the macro.

2. Click on the pencil icon to edit the macro settings

3. Type the desired location address or coordinates to find and map a location

4. Leave the field 'Embed IFRAME code for public maps' empty

5. (Optional) Set the interface language for the map

6.  (Optional) Configure the map with reference to the different types of view: Road map view or Satellite view

7. (Optional) Set the Zoom level of the map

8. Set the maximum width of the embedded map

9. Set the maximum height of the embedded map
