If the map you want to add to your Confluence page is publicly accessible you can do add it by sharing in Google Maps interface.

1. From Google Maps (https://www.google.com/maps) acquire the map you're after, then click the share icon


2. Click the 'Copy Link' button to get the Google Map link


3.  Go to your Confluence page, select the 'Edit' page option and type '/' followed by 'google' or 'map' to open the macro insert menu to find the Google Maps macro. Click on the Google Maps menu item to insert the macro.

4. Click on the pencil icon to edit the macro settings


5. Leave the 'Location Address or Coordinates' field blank



6. Paste the link from Step 2 "as is" into the 'Google Maps link' field shown below


7. Leave the Language field blank


8. Leave the Map Type field blank

9. Leave the Zoom field blank

10. Set the maximum width of the map


11. Set the maximum height of the map



12. Publish the page and enjoy!
