Adding Google Maps to a Confluence Page Just Got Easy
We have decided to invest some efforts into our Embed Google Maps Pro – the only Google Maps app on the Marketplace that exists on all three platforms (Server, Data Center and Cloud).
We have always been the only app that allows you to easily embed a pre-existing public map or use a custom one you or someone else has developed with Google My Maps. On the Server and Data Center this addresses a security concern – as you can do it without enabling HTML or IFRAME macros that are considered a security risk.
As we are the only paid app, we have to fight for our customers, so we are now taking on our "free" competition by adding the missing killer features to the list: now you can insert a Google Map into a Confluence page by simply specifying an address, coordinates or a search term. Besides that – markers, street view, printable maps and KML files are all in the pipeline. All of this with 24x7 support.
