1. COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION BY THE APP

In runtime, Embed Google Maps app for Confluence deals with information that may fall under the scope of privacy laws in your jurisdiction e.g. users' names, users' locations, usernames, user group membership, etc. 

However, the apps do not collect this runtime information for any other purpose but to enable rendering of Google Maps for locations specified and recording in the log files.

On Server and Data Center platforms this information is not automatically passed to any outside systems or parties, neither us, the vendor of the app (TechTime Initiative Group Limited, a New Zealand company), nor the vendor of the base application (Atlassian Pty Ltd, an Australian company).

2. COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION BY THE BASE APPLICATION

Other components of the base application may collect information in (such as base application version, app version) and pass it to Atlassian to be further shared with TechTime, outside of the scope covered by this policy. 

3. PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED VIA SURVEYS

As part of our product development we run web-based surveys. We may ask you for your email address to engage with you in more detail e.g. on a particular feature suggestion.

4. PERSONAL INFORMATION ASSOCIATED WITH ATLASSIAN MARKETPLACE ORDERS

When purchased via Atlassian Marketplace or via one of the reseller channels, Atlassian shares the order information with us, as the vendor of the app. This includes the Technical Contact name and email, reseller name and email, customer (e.g. company) name, customer address, license number, details of the base application such as user tier and type e.g. Confluence

This information is ingested into our Service Desk automatically.

Atlassian and resellers may contact us in the course of app purchase or refund processing and share order information explicitly by email or via Service Desk request.

5. PERSONAL INFORMATION ASSOCIATED WITH UNINSTALLING/DISABLING APP FEEDBACK

When the app is uninstalled or disabled by the administrator of the base application the Universal Plugin Manager provided by Atlassian presents the administrator with a form to submit feedback, aiming to collect reasons why the app has been uninstalled/disabled. The information collected may include the name of the administrator and the email address, app license number (SEN) app version and base application version and type.

This information is sent to Atlassian, is shared with TechTime and is automatically ingested into our Service Desk.

6. PERSONAL INFORMATION IN SERVICE DESK REQUESTS

When you raise a request in our Service Desk directly via Customer Portal, by emailing support@techtime.co.nz or using the Web Chat feature available on our website techtime.co.nz – your information, specifically your email address and your name is ingested into our Service Desk. Customer Portal forms may optionally ask for more information about the base application e.g. version and type and app version.

If in the course of us working on your request you send us application logs or other specific information we request  - this information is ingested into our Service Desk.

7. HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use contact information collected via surveys to engage with you in more detail on a specific piece of feedback or feature suggestion.

We use the order information to send automatic emails to the technical contact during evaluation and purchase cycle and to deliver the 3rd party licenses required by the application (if any). 

We use the personal information included in the uninstalling/disabling app feedback to follow up with the administrator aiming to assist in resolving the problems that caused the application to be uninstalled/disabled.

We use personal information in Service Desk requests to communicate with you to fulfil the request.

Additionally, we will use the Request Information to reach out with direct email notifications if we have identified a problem, such as a security risk, associated with our app or systems that in our opinion may affect you.

We do not use your information for direct sales, advertising or marketing outside the initial evaluation and purchase cycle. We do not send newsletters. 

8. SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We do not share your Personal Information with other customers e.g. as a reference, without explicit consent from you, to be requested on a case by case basis.

We do share your Personal Information with third parties. 

In particular, when we email you or you email us, your information including the content of the email is shared with our mail provider. If this of concern - consider communicating with us via Customer Portal, especially for transmitting the application log files. Use encryption if necessary and arrange for delivery of credentials through a separate channel (e.g. SMS).

To fulfil your order we may share your information with the suppliers of the 3rd party licenses (if any) or Atlassian e.g. processing of refunds. In some cases, we may need to send your information to vendors of components used in our apps, or Atlassian for the purpose of technical support (e.g. seeking assistance with the base application behaviour reported as part of your Service Desk request). 

We use TypeForm to run surveys, and we feed collected information to our private channels in Slack and our private boards in Trello.

We use online services (e.g. accounting system and payment processors) when doing direct sales. If fulfilling your order involves issuing a direct invoice from TechTime to your organisation - we will share your information with these services for the purpose of generating an invoice and processing of the payment. If you are paying by direct bank transfer, our bank has access to your information.

We use MixPanel to collect information about how our products are used. We use this information to prioritise new features and improve our products. We also use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use our website and Atlassian Marketplace listings – you can read more about how Google uses your Personal Information here: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/. Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful requests for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

9. YOUR RIGHTS

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information is to be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfil contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Atlassian Marketplace or submit a request to our Service Desk), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. 

Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to New Zealand (where TechTime is located), Australia (where some of our and Atlassian’s systems and services are located e.g. technical support) and United States of America (where some Atlassian’s systems and services are located, as well as our 3rd party licenses suppliers).

10. DATA RETENTION

All information ingested in our Service Desk, send via surveys or emailed to us directly will be maintained for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

11. ATLASSIAN MARKETPLACE VENDOR AGREEMENT CONTEXT

In the context of Atlassian Marketplace Vendor Agreement, clause 8.4 End User Data and Privacy‐Related Obligations – we classify data:

  • collected as described in items (1) and (5) as the Vendor-Collected End-User Data;
  • collected as described in items (2), (3) and (4) as the Atlassian-Collected End-User Data.

Atlassian is not responsible for the privacy, security or integrity of Vendor-Collected End User Data. Atlassian shall not be liable for or have any responsibility in connection with Vendor-Collected End User Data.

12. CHANGES

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
