My worklogs are appearing in different places in My Day and Tempo - DC
Both EasyTime and Tempo edit and display the same worklogs that are stored in Jira. However, Tempo edits/displays the worklogs in the server timezone and EasyTime My Day edits/displays them in your user timezone. This means that if your user timezone is different to the server timezone then your worklogs added using EasyTime and your EasyTime automated worklogs will appear in the wrong place in Tempo, similarly worklogs added through Tempo will appear in the wrong place in My Day. The easiest way to avoid this issue is to use My Day as your day-to-day worklog viewer and editor, and at the end of your week review your timesheets as needed in tempo. In the future, we may add the option to have My Day display worklogs the same way as Tempo.
My worklogs are appearing in different places between Jira and My Day - Cloud
This is a known behaviour between Jira and Tempo. When integrating with Tempo, EasyTime uses a Tempo API to retrieve and update worklogs, so the same behaviour occurs between Jira and EasyTime. Tempo stores your worklog start times relative to your current time and Jira stores your worklog start times as absolute time values relative to your timezone. So if you logged work at 11 am and then set your timezone back 1 hour, in My Day your current time marker will have moved back 1 hour but your worklog will still be displayed at 11 am, in Jira however it will say the worklog is at 10 am because it is adjusting for your timezone.
My Day is showing the wrong time - Cloud
On Jira cloud you have the option to set your user timezone visibility, this lets you control who/what can see your timezone. If your timezone visibility is not set to "Anyone" then EasyTime cannot see it and instead will use the user default timezone for your Jira. This will mean that the current time marker in MyDay may be in the wrong place, automatic worklogs may appear at the wrong time, and reports might get the time period wrong. To prevent this set your timezone visibility to "Anyone".
