Question

I am pressing Test Connection in EasySSO NTLM Authenticator and getting this message.

Why is this showing up and how can I fix this? 

Error testing account abcd$

jespa.security.SecurityProviderException: NETLOGON failure

Caused by:

jespa.util.NtException: The SAM database on the Windows NT Server does not have a computer account for this workstation trust relationship.

Answer

The computer account you've specified in the configuration doesn't exist on the Domain Controllers that EasySSO is attempting to connect with.

Please verify that the account has been created, that it is a computer account (not user, not "service"), and that a password has been set.
