PageStats for Atlassian Confluence

What is PageStats?

An add-on that provides macros to display the way users interacted with a page as a iconographic.

Why use it?

Often an overview is desired that will give information on how exactly people are interacting with the content. PageStats collects information about main interactions that users have with content in Confluence and presents them as a condensed iconographic - easy to read, easy to understand, easy to display elsewhere for comparison.

Main features

1. Display iconographic

Displays the number of likes, number of comments, number of likes of comments, number of replies and number of likes of replies in a condensed iconographic - helping you gain the information on how people are interacting with your page in one look.

2. Display in excerpts

When included in a hidden excerpt on the page, PageStats can be displayed elsewhere e.g a list created by Content-by-Label macro. This way one glance can tell you how people are interacting with your content and help compare

3. Integration with other plugins

PageStats integrates with EasyPage and PageScore - EasyPage can insert PageStats macro in the excerpt automatically and when shown in the lists together with PageScore it will play and render nicely.

How to use it?

Once installed "PageStats" (page-stats) macro is available to be inserted anywhere on the page.
Macro outputs the result as an inline element, so it can be a part of your narration if so required.

If the macro is included in the excerpt on the page - it can be displayed elsewhere using standard Confluence macros that display excerpts. A most powerful effect is achieved with having the excerpt hidden and using the Content-by-Label macro pull a list of all content by label, while displaying excerpts.

An additional macro "PageStats Content-by-label Style" (page-stats-contentbylabel-style) can be included anywhere on the page to change the way content-by-label lists are rendered, creating a consistent display.
