Getting started with EasyPage Blueprint by TechTime



Installation

  1. Log into your Confluence instance as an admin.
  2. Click the admin dropdown and choose Atlassian Marketplace.The Manage add-ons screen loads.
  3. Click Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page.
  4. Locate TechTime EasyPage Blueprint via search.The appropriate add-on version appears in the search results.
  5. Click Try free to begin a new trial or Buy now to purchase a license for TechTime EasyPage Blueprint.You're prompted to log into MyAtlassian. TechTime EasyPage Blueprint begins to download.
  6. Enter your information and click Generate license when redirected to MyAtlassian.
  7. Click Apply license.If you're using an older version of UPM, you can copy and paste the license into your Confluence instance.

How to get there - per space configuration

  1. As Admin go to any page in a space
  2. Click on the cog in the bottom left corner then select 'Add-ons'
    This will bring you to the different tabs for Add-ons.
  3. Select the EasyPage tab.

Configuring EasyPage Templates for specific space(s)


  1. On the EasyPage tab enter the Properties of the template. Properties are java.util.Properties.

  2. At the very least you will need to enter the following properties and amend the property values:

    wizard.blueprint.name=Your Template Name
wizard.blueprint.desc=Your Template Description
wizard.blueprint.enabled=true

  3. If you want to remove the default 'easypage' label tick the Remove bluebprint Label box.

  4. If you want to add the PageScore (another add-on) tick the box.
  5. Click Save.

How to use EasyPage

  1. When you create a document use the ellipsis next to the Create button.

  2. Your new template will show up with the name and description you have entered. See screenshot 5.
  3. Once you have selected the template and clicked create the Details screen displays and asks for pages details. See screenshot 6.
